Glen Rose, TX Comprehensive Plan

The Plan serves as a guide for future growth, development, and key decisions for Glen Rose as it
continues to evolve.
It is built from meaningful community engagement
and Design Thinking methodology.
The Comprehensive Plan covers a variety of topics that shape the future, character, and projects to be completed in the city over the next 20 years,
including, but not limited to, transportation, housing, land use, utilities and infrastructure, events and programming, growth management, and much more.

Envision Caldwell was the City's first Comprehensive Plan and is meant to be a living document, that guides the City in future growth and development.
It is an award-winning collaboratively effort with Texas A&M's Texas Target Communities.
- Received a 2022 Texas Planning Award from the state chapter of the American Planning Association.
Development and engagement occurred amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Worked with City Staff to create a report that provided potential design and compatibility adjustments that could be made to address resident concerns voiced in 2021 at a neighborhood meeting, as well as best practices.

This regional environmental management plan addresses threats to the Lower Riparian Coastal Wetlands within Cameron County.
This plan focuses on best practices and outcomes and then speculates on strategies for execution.
The Polices, Tools, and Strategies Chapter featured here highlights how Cameron County can utilize this report to guide future planning efforts of its resources to protect them for future generations.
